Review on 💾 Toshiba Canvio Basics 3TB Black Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 - HDTB330XK3CB by Agonia Pedrosa

I bought this to use with my Mac. I ran into a small issue while formatting that I couldn't find an answer to here, so thought I'd write a review in case anyone else has the same issue: ," format change on Mac OS (Journaled) I have one Got an error message and when I unplugged and plugged the device back in it said the drive was unreadable It still showed up in Disk Utility but was grayed out I have contacted tech support at the number provided on the product box called and was told the drive must be defective as it won't mount.I swapped it out for another through Revain.The second had EXACTLY the same issue so I tried googling "view" in the again top left corner of the disk utility screen, it was set to show volumes only by default and when I clicked show all devices I was able to see the ex Select internal hard drive, erase and reformat without wiping any problems. Very simple solution nope but as someone who is not very tech savvy this stumped me for a while. On the other hand, I've been using Toshiba's variants of this external hard drive (mainly for storing photos and Lightroom catalogues) for 2-3 years now and have had almost no problems! The USB cable can be a bit loose and I've already unplugged it from the laptop twice while at work, so keep that in mind.
