Great product at a fantastic price. I work a lot with SD cards (both full size and micro) and got this reader as a backup because I had a lot of problems with internal readers on two computers. I have found that SD card readers have fragile card slots that can be easily damaged. So far I've worn a few, and internal readers are relatively expensive. I've only been using this item for a week but it seems very well made and works perfectly. I plan to use it as my main card reader and stop using the internal ones. Update 3+ months: I use this reader all the time - I view and update at least 8 memory cards (both SD and microSD) several times a year. the week. The only problem I sometimes encounter is dirty contacts on the cards caused by frequent insertions and removals from both this reader and individual cameras. This item worked flawlessly and at such a great price I can't say enough good things about it!
