On arrival three of them worked, one came with a broken switch, one had a short circuit and one didn't work at all. I really wanted it because I like the mechanism - small with dead batteries instead of the usual three AA batteries that die after days (I got rechargeable batteries for that). Oak Leaf immediately sent a replacement, which I appreciated. HOWEVER, contrary to their description in the product title, when I received the replacement I found that they were not SUPER BRIGHT at all. The ones that "worked" started out with really good brightness - not super bright but definitely festive, but dimmed after a couple of hours, and by second use (the next evening) they were so dim as to be a significant distraction. from my decoration. So far Oakleaf is offering me a small refund because I don't want to disassemble my jewelry to return it, but that was before I discovered that lights quickly become useless and unattractive. I don't like having to start shopping for fittings all over again. Not only does that mean I have to spend more, but if I do it right, the vacation is over. Maybe for December. Sigh.
