Review on πŸ“ž Enhance Your Communication with the Grandstream GS-GXP2160 Enterprise IP Telephone VoIP Phone and Device in Elegant Black by Susan Castle

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything you need in your phone. And great price!

I couldn't believe what I was reading looking at this phone. So many functions and buttons and a great price! I ordered one hoping for the best, expecting good quality. I am very impressed! I found the web interface very easy to navigate and easy to program. The menu was intuitive enough to get up and running quickly with my FreePBX/Asterisk setup. Unfortunately, the OSS Endpoint Manager does not yet have a template for this. (I may have to add that myself) However, if you can afford to spend $75 on a Smooze EPM, I've been told it has support. A HUGE factor for me is the flexibility with the 24 programmable BLF keys! Plenty of space to monitor internal numbers, parking, speed dial and more! With this phone I can easily mimic the functionality of old key systems. Why should I do this? Customers, customers, customers. My customers love the benefits of VoIP but hate the change! With this phone I can give them the best of both worlds. The quality of the phone with the speaker is ok (-0.5 stars). Not a big Polycom, but adequate. Intercom and multicast paging configuration was easy and works great. In my opinion, the sound in the handset is optimal. The only thing I would wish for from Grandstream right now is better documentation. The limited documents they have online often contain outdated menu images. Even some of the recommended settings were completely missing as menu items. Also complete the documentation for their deployment codes. I haven't found a complete list yet. This would be very helpful for me. (-.5 stars) As you can see, overall I'm very happy with this phone and couldn't think of a better choice for most SOHOs and even some mid-sized businesses. The problems mentioned above are easily forgivable when you look at the return on investment. My company has already ordered 5 of these phones for our office and will soon be installing them along with new installations.
