Review on Pleated Tennis Skirts with Pockets: Women's ๐ŸŽพ Athletic Golf Skorts for Active Sports, Running, and Workouts by John Huskisson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very flattering in the middle, more practical in size L

Thank you to everyone who has photographed this skirt in their reviews. I ordered it because every body type looks great in it. I'm 5ft 5.5" and 133lbs with a long waist, small hips and big butt so I ordered a medium skirt first. The midi skirt looks just as flattering on me as it does on all the other women who have styled it. Many reviewers who liked her skirt overall found the curved side seams a bit standout. Looking at these photos it seemed to me that the manufacturer hadn't ironed the seams before shipping, so I ordered it anyway to see if I guessed right. correct, and yes, my guess was correct. Easy to decide, as I've sewn and ironed many polyester (wool) jerseys before, so ironing out the curved side seam isn't difficult for me. In the photo you can see the ironing. Side seams look very good. The only problem with these beautiful dresses is that while most women complain that the shorts are too loose and ride up, the shorts fit me TOO well! The pant legs and pockets of the shorts are close to my hips, so I'm assuming that if you put the balls in the pockets and take them out of the pockets, the shorts will go up anyway. yes, because there is no silicone at the bottom of the leg. I would prefer the roomy pockets of a tennis skirt with elastic at the top to hold balls, I'll try them on the court and who knows? Perhaps they are as functional as they are beautiful. Or maybe I need a big one so there's more room for tennis balls. I will report. So I'm changing my rating without going to court first because I'm pretty sure the shorts won't work for me on average and I want them back. As you can see from the first two photos, I like the medium size better for the more flattering length and slimmer fit, but the large is more practical because the shorts are longer and looser so I can easily slip tennis balls into my pockets. , and they're loose enough not to ride up like men's tennis shorts. I've worn Lulu tennis skirts, they're very cute, but they only fit a tennis ball, so I prefer these. Long story short (hehe) if I were to buy them to use as a cute replacement for summer day wear I would keep the medium ones but since I want to play tennis in them I went for the large ones. In any size, they are DEFINITELY more flattering than men or women for some reason!
