Item looks exactly like the picture. For my 7 year old daughter this is a good starter kit! However, it was sent in a bubble envelope so the container was broken into many pieces. Pooh. The letters of the alphabet bear no relation to the actual words you want to create. For example, we gave 6 x and there were almost no vowels in one kind of beads.
