I'm giving 5 stars because I love it, but there are a few things you need to know. First, as many say, the cord is short. I mounted mine over a wall junction box, then cut and routed the lamp cord to the rear. Definitely not for someone with no experience. That said, it still looks great when you can hang it over an outlet too. Just don't expect a long cable. Also, and this is definitely important to me, the globe only fits an A15-sized bulb to keep the heat down. A Lifx or similar smart bulb will not fit in the hole in the shade. I solved this problem by going to a hardware store. They offer a 6 inch glass bowl with a large hole to fit my smart lightbulb and mounts without modification. It doesn't fit perfectly, but you can't tell for sure and it cost $5. Overall I am very satisfied and it looks fantastic.
