This was a damaged item in the packaging, apparently the damaged packaging was due to the removal of shipping and return labels. Someone had this and used it in a place that was probably damp or highly humid until the bulb went out and damage to the socket resulted in the outer threaded ring for the Edison socket coming out with the bulb. I had to cut the wires near the lamp socket because the screws were so corroded they were one piece. Now for the good: the sculpture itself is of pretty good…

I'm giving 5 stars because I love it, but there are a few things you need to know. First, as many say, the cord is short. I mounted mine over a wall junction box, then cut and routed the lamp cord to the rear. Definitely not for someone with no experience. That said, it still looks great when you can hang it over an outlet too. Just don't expect a long cable.
