Withstands immersion to a depth of approximately 30 feet, no leaks. Using it over water to capture the action on a boat also worked. Until it gets sweaty. Despite the fog inserts, it fogs up over the water after a while. Very easy to scratch, a light smack on the stone, and I mean a little smack, nicks on it. Cleaned the seabed in Cozumel, more scratches. Some tarpon thought it might be food and bit and clawed deeper. I looked wrong. OK, not that bad. We used it on our honeymoon to record our snorkeling, diving, rock climbing and waterfall jumping and swimming with stingrays. It's so scratched that I now have to replace it. It should be made of something much harder and more scratch resistant. Also, if you want to record yourself while using the case, you'll need a swivel mount on the end. The bottom of the body completely blocks you when using the selfie stick. I wish they had made it lower at the base or overall and much more durable. I'm not happy that I have to spend another $90 to replace it after a few uses. Treat it like a fragile egg and you'll be fine. Try doing something remotely active and you'll scratch it. The scratches are clearly visible in the videos and photos. I suppose it's better to lose a $90 suitcase than a $400 camera, but that gets expensive fast.
