This is a very cute dress but the shirt looked very faded. It loses color and shape with every wash. This dress is great for home but definitely not suitable for parties or events. The shirt has a lot of stretch but doesn't hold its shape well and keeps stretching instead of springing back into place with each wear. I would have found something more expensive for a quality party dress. I went up a size for our almost 4 year old daughter and it's a little big which means it probably fits like it should.
