is slightly torn, so I wanted to use it as a primer for electroplating. I heard "Graphite Conductive Paint" was one of the items recommended in many videos. I painted in several layers, let each one dry and then tried. A few hours later there was no change. When I have a little more time I can try again and try to exclude some other variables. and if i can get this stuff to work i will revise my review.

Haven't tried it yet but for the price I hope it works well. The bottle is very small and not at all suitable for those who regularly use the electroforming process, especially considering the need to apply 2-3 coats to each part. At first I was thrilled that I found a new graphite color, but now I'm still searching. While this stuff works well, it's not enough and I really wish Rio Grande wouldn't stop releasing them.

I have used this color successfully on several rings and jewellery. This product is very smooth, not lumpy at all. I've used other, more expensive brands that dried out so easily and caked on the edge of the rim when first opened - this was my first warning to show me how quickly other brands dry out. Compared to more expensive brands, Archaic Elements requires an extra coat of paint but will last longer and work just as well.
