I would say they were perfect when I received them. I have a black metal fence around my garden/patio and the black cord fades during the day and the lights are a nice warm colour. But after a month, half of the chain did not light up, and I tried unsuccessfully to check the connection lamp by lamp. Unfortunately I can't return them because the time has run out. risk it and maybe you'll have better luck than me. for me it was a waste of money. Why fairy lights can't last long I haven't had any luck with any of them.
