I am very happy with the system as it does the job I needed it for. The video quality is exceptional and setting up the hardware and app was an easy task. The last star would have been deserved if there weren't two shortcomings. 1. The included wall mounts are better for indoor use on smooth drywall. These brackets are not ideal for outdoor installation on vinyl siding. Choosing between an indoor or outdoor installation with proper fixings would be more satisfying. I had to purchase a set of outdoor ceiling mounts to place the cameras where I need them. If people could tune their systems straight from the factory that would be great. 2. There is a significant delay between the moment the cameras detect motion and the moment the recording begins. You should expect some latency when working wirelessly, but with that the latency seems a bit high. It would be nice to establish coverage areas when building a wireless network, and it would be nice to have weatherproof power adapters available too. However, households do not usually have conveniently located outdoor sockets for which such a system would suffice. But overall I'm happy with the system. It provided some peace when no one was home.
