Very Very comfortable fabric but heal slips off with shoes on.

While I love the feel of the cotton (and it is very comforting), the socks don't stay on my heals when wearing a shoe with a back. I was hoping because it had the gel in the back that it would make a difference, but I think the cotton stretches a bit with the movement and causes the back to slip down. It is a dilemma to find cotton that doesn't slip off with shoes. The socks do stay on with tighter sneakers and no shoes.

These are perfectly concealed when wearing my Vibram Five Finger Alitza shoes. It doesn''t matter which color, because they aren''t seen - very discrete! They also stay on pretty well. I don''t toss them in the dryer, though. The loss of one star is due to how they''re made. The toes are very oddly stitched, leading to a huge seam across the ball of the foot. Most of the time that seam resides in the crevice between the ball of the foot and the toe pads, but sometimes it migrates and can be painful as it sits under the ball of the foot.
