When I installed this on the iPad base I knew it was going to break soon. I've swapped out quite a few iPad screens from different models and can tell when problems will arise. When I inserted it there were gaps around the edges of the screen but not even permanent gaps like it was too small in all directions. There were even gaps in the corners. It's too cheap and a waste of money. I ordered a replacement before I even had any glue. After 2 hours of normal use, the glass cracked. A long tear in the front. I suspect because it doesn't fit the Ipad. Save yourself the frustration and buy the one that costs a few dollars more.
