Review on 🌧️ SOLOCOTE Kids Rain Jacket: Hooded Rubber RainCoat for Girls & Boys (Size 5-14Y) – Waterproof, Windproof & Lined by Kirk Arroyave

I was looking for a rubberised raincoat similar to the (expensive) Hatley raincoats my child wore as a child. However, he rejected the printed designs, saying that he was now too old for them. But I liked the waterproof rubberized material, which was soft enough to be highly mobile, and the cotton lining, which kept the coat warm enough to wear naked during the rainy seasons of early spring or late fall. Well this Solokot is PERFECT! The rubberized outer material is the same as the polyurethane material used in Hatley raincoats. It's soft and flexible, but FULLY waterproof, not just waterproof. And the inner lining made of cotton terry keeps you warm in colder temperatures. The design and cut strikes me as very feminine so even gender neutral colors may not seem ideal if you're buying for a boy, but that's very subjective. I ended up ordering a size 9/10 which was a bit long for my 9 year old. But not excessively. It will suit her perfectly. However, if your child is very tall, the jacket may be too narrow in width.
