Review on Flowtech 59904FLT Terminator Exhaust Tips by Jaleel Pruitt

Fitted to a 1987 S10 2.5L 5 speed 2 drive with real straight pipe. Only bought this because the pacesetter monza tips are very hard to find now. This tip is clearly inferior to the Monza tip. The resonators at this tip are slotted and very narrow at the end, less than 3/4 inch in diameter. As a result, the installation of a straight pipe was pushed back. It was as loud as my 2019 Sonic RS with the muffler and resonator. remove it (still have both cats). It was too quiet and didn't sound very good overall. I used a dremel and file to open the bottle neck on the backplate of the resonator and the sound was louder and it got nice mid-range Note that it used to be wasn't enough. It is unacceptable to make an exhaust tip and claim it has a 2" inlet and a 2.5" outlet but a 3/4" bottleneck. I'm still looking for alternative tips to replace these.
