Review on TOTO SW2024#01 A200 WASHLET Electronic Bidet Toilet Seat with SoftClose Lid, Elongated, Cotton White - Enhance Your Bathroom Experience by Donnie King

I used to have a Toto sink/bidet and loved it (different model as it didn't have a remote control). So I bought the Revain A200 because my mom wanted it (good for her hemorrhoids). We probably won't need the A200's remote control capability, but that's okay. The features we wanted in addition to washing were 1) pulsation/oscillation for better cleaning, 2) water heater, 3) heated seats as it's nice when it's cold. All of this is in the A200. When the item arrived it was well packaged. Although I'm not a do-it-yourselfer, I was able to follow the installation instructions. I would like to point out that there was an installation video on Youtube (made by Toto I think) that was helpful. just to see how it's done. At first I had a problem with leaks. There are certain connections which the instruction manual says should not be overtightened, just hand tightened (here the bidet water supply hose connects to a valve that looks like a T because it has 3 holes/connectors). When I first did it, this connection wouldn't screw itself in by hand no matter how many times I screwed it in - that's where the leak is. The next morning I called Toto and they said they would send me a replacement part which arrived in about 2 days. The Toto rep advised me not to cross over in this joint (i.e. make sure the threads are screwed in smoothly and not forcefully). A Toto representative explained to me how to remove the old water supply hose. Because the replaceable water inlet hose is simply and smoothly screwed onto the T-valve by hand. My conclusion is that the original water supply hose had some defect. I still give Toto 5 stars because their customer service has been great and while this bidet works it is amazing and life changing! UPDATE 10/12/19: I've found that the pulsing and oscillating functions aren't that useful for us. as we originally thought. Never use them and we might buy a cheaper model.
