It has a very comfortable feeling when you hold it and when you pour it. Pours nice and clean (no drips), not too heavy like the glass bottles I have and I don't have to worry about them breaking like my glass bottles. Inside is a glass container for your liquids, housed in a protective plastic outer sleeve. The bottom of the container easily unscrews so you can take out the inner glass and put it in the dishwasher. Edit 3/12/20 After washing in the dishwasher (lid on the top shelf, rest on the bottom shelf), the lid would no longer close. I figured it was my fault for washing the main body on the bottom shelf. But from what I've seen, it has nothing to do with the O-ring. It's possible that the plastic shell warped because it was too close to the heat source. Once again it will be my fault. So, in hindsight, it's best not to bet on the bottom shelf. Poorly! Also, always check that the bottom fits well. Crash! Down the stairs and into a million pieces My aunt washed the jug and I cleaned it but I forgot to check the bottom. Oops. Learn the hard way! 2020 WTF!
