Update: I originally only gave this 3 stars because a handle broke after just a month of use. I'm increasing it to 4 stars because I contacted Franklin (manufacturer) and told them about my problem. They immediately sent me a replacement pen for free! Such great customer service deserves an extra star in my book. I also really liked the feel of the handle - it didn't slip even though I was holding it with a sweaty hand, and I felt very comfortable holding it in my hand. My original review follows below if you'd like to read it too. I bought it in July, used it for the first time on August 4th. As you can see the handle is too flimsy and I broke it after just four weeks of first use. Big minus. On the plus side, this very affordable set helped my husband and I play pickleball. This is a fun game and we want to keep playing. The grip on the handles is very comfortable and non-slip even in the very hot weather we had here in the month of August. So if you're looking to try a pickleball at a really great price, this set might be for you - just be prepared to replace the blades soon after starting regular use if you're enjoying the game. So if you don't know if you're going to enjoy the game and don't want to spend a lot of money on another piece of sports equipment that you might never use, this might be perfect for you to try this fun game.
