My kids went to school and like many others they don't wear shorts with drawstrings so I had to go with shorts with hooks and a adjustable elastic that was either still too tight when left on my skinny little ones or lost so they kept tugging at it. 6 year old nephew and 10 year old niece, both easy to take off and put back on. Can be used by children on pants with bows, as well as dresses or long shirts. I plan to hand wash it or disinfect it carefully due to Covid and think it will last. Shipping and packaging was good and the metal part was sealed.
