I installed this on my 2005 Honda Pilot because the power steering pump was whimpering and leaking a little out of the top hose. This was an instant fix for me. If your power steering pump is making noise or is leaking, first check the o-ring for cracks. I had a full ring, but flat rather than round. This is an inexpensive way to determine if the problem is just the o-ring or the pump itself. Tools needed for installation: 3/4" ratchet and 10mm socket, small or flat blade screwdriver for removing old o-ring, towel or rag to prevent fluid from getting on drive belt, tin can. Brake cleaner for cleaning before and after installation.
