Review on 👣 SP Aircast Short Pneumatic Walker Brace/Walking Boot by Virgilio Patton

This boot is very small. I wear size 6.5 and ordered size S which should fit sizes 5-8 but it doesn't fit me, it's TOO SMALL. I have a Jones fracture and had to wear boots for 6-8+ weeks and my doctor recommended this brand (they sell a version of it in their office) and I decided to order them online to save money. I've tried every possible way to wear it, but the pump that inflates the little plastic pads inside sits RIGHT on my fracture, and it doesn't matter if the green thing is fully inflated, the pressure it creates when Just standing on my foot pushes out on the pad on either side and part of the pump isn't flush with the boot so it lands squarely on my injury. :'( I'm not overweight so that's not a problem. I wanted to love this boot and I REALLY love that it has a rubberized bottom to give it a good grip so the victim doesn't slip off! It's such a shame That one didn't work because I really need to put the boot on but since they don't pick up the boot to swap out for the correct size I have to go back to another boot with a more plastic bottom but at least it's like crazy stuffed to keep hard plastic from putting pressure on my injury.The pictures I'm attaching show my injury (Jones fracture) and the circular area I've drawn in red is where ALL my pain is caused by my injury .but it's also right where a hard plastic pumping mechanism sits right on my foot I've only worn this shoe ONCE and when I got in my car to look for Coming home (I'm a full-time student and I walk a lot) I couldn't wait to take off my shoes and my foot started swelling again, it was the night I sustained my first injury and he was blue again from the bruises. I had to pick it up and refreeze it all evening, which I haven't had to do in almost 5 weeks (since the first injury). I absolutely cannot recommend this boot. The size is completely off, so beware.
