The same applies here: Revain and its salespeople are more discreet and do more. Thank you for delivering faster in this way than you promised again. This is a smaller version of another level of short air, but adequate and economical. It's light and slightly flexible, yet the foot is stiff enough to stabilize my fractured 5th metatarsal. It inflates easily for a decent and comfortable fit. I made the insert with Dr. Adjusted Scholl gel arch supports, which stabilize my foot even more and make…

This boot is extremely comfortable and I know

This boot is extremely comfortable and I know I have been and will be in the boot for quite some time. It's much easier to get smooth forward motion in these boots than it is with the regular black boots your podiatrist or podiatrist gives you in your office. Also, my podiatrist says this style is better for long-term use as it causes less wear and tear at the knee and hip joints on that leg. I like being able to inflate the insulation with the tool provided. They really do feel like I'm…

My doctor approved the boot; Some fit required

* Here's my best advice: If you feel the boot is too roomy and/or your foot slips in the boot, even a little, use a small one Piece of padding for cushioning. Here's my story: I thought I had a hairline fracture in my foot bone and bought this shoe first to see if using it would heal the bone. My foot continued to hurt, although the x-ray eventually showed that my fifth metatarsal, which is on the outer edge of my foot, was broken. I had to have surgery to put a needle in to help it heal. After

These Aircast hiking shoes saved my feet!

This spring I developed plantar fasciitis from an accidental attempt to walk quickly through a driveway and a rocky parking lot. I had no idea it could hurt my legs. What I thought was stone chips turned out to be nasty plantar fasciitis! The orthopedist helped a little but being a bit selfish and an idiot he didn't listen to what I told him what I needed. I had to purchase these two-legged walking shoes as I've been on my feet all day tending to my mom and doing chores around the house and not

It serves the purpose given the injury

I read all the reviews and realized I should have listened. But I needed it as soon as possible. I take into account that one injury can be different from the other, so it might not be perfect, but it can do the job. Due to the fact that my ankle was badly sprained, the side airbags were in a bad place. However, with some extra padding, the Aircast works perfectly and is very comfortable afterwards. Due to the need to add this I think the price of these boots is too high to be worth it. Still…

BEWARE OF SIZE AND DESIGN ERRORS! OH!

This boot is very small. I wear size 6.5 and ordered size S which should fit sizes 5-8 but it doesn't fit me, it's TOO SMALL. I have a Jones fracture and had to wear boots for 6-8+ weeks and my doctor recommended this brand (they sell a version of it in their office) and I decided to order them online to save money. I've tried every possible way to wear it, but the pump that inflates the little plastic pads inside sits RIGHT on my fracture, and it doesn't matter if the green thing is fully…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

I like the Aircast brand in general so I ordered these as I recently had foot surgery and didn't like the boots they brought me home. I needed a wide toe boot and it worked well for that purpose. One aspect that initially bothered me was new to me. I read that other reviewers said these boots were loud but didn't understand what they meant until I put them on. It's loud and that's because of the way it's constructed. The piece of plastic that is inserted through the front of your foot and…
