This spring I developed plantar fasciitis from an accidental attempt to walk quickly through a driveway and a rocky parking lot. I had no idea it could hurt my legs. What I thought was stone chips turned out to be nasty plantar fasciitis! The orthopedist helped a little but being a bit selfish and an idiot he didn't listen to what I told him what I needed. I had to purchase these two-legged walking shoes as I've been on my feet all day tending to my mom and doing chores around the house and not getting enough relief from other routines (exercise, pain/anti-inflammatory cream). I ordered these boots and was pretty sure my insurance would cover them, but all he gave me was some thin air bubbles to put them on. days I felt great relief. After wearing the boots for about 1 1/2 weeks my right foot felt much better. I bought a second boot for my left foot and felt relief within a few days. I wear both when I have to walk a lot (shopping), but I can wear my diabetic shoes with special orthotics for most of the day after only a few weeks of using these shoes. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone who has foot pain and is not getting relief fast enough or no relief at all with other recovery methods. In addition to these boots, I still wear compression stockings, sleeves, and sometimes socks to protect my feet.
