Excellent protection for my Samsung Chromebook Plus. I have a clear and I can see through it, although you could say it's a case. I actually dropped my Chromebook going through TSA security the day after I got the cover and it did the job. My Chromebook is in perfect condition and the case is still intact. The only complaint is that it adds some weight to the device. Overall it's still light, but the top adds too much weight to the screen, making it much easier to fold back. It's still stable but overwhelms the springs/drag if you move too fast. As someone else said, it would have been nice to have a bit of texture to feel more secure when carrying it around, but it's no smoother than the Chromebook itself. Would buy it again with no problem.
