If you use our laptop on the go and are tired of cables sticking out the side of the USB ports where they can be knocked out and/or damaged. this is the FIX for this problem. I use 2-3 of these with each of my laptops (I have 3 separate units on my field device) and no longer have to send my devices in for USB repair. They pair well with 3-4 port USB 3.0 hubs if you use a lot of hardware per hub. I recommend using externally powered hubs to minimize stress on the motherboard.
