This is a very high quality charging cable. The ends feel very strong and are unlikely to break unless you pull them out of the device by the cable itself. I always grab it by the metal stopper to let go and I almost never have a crash. I only bought this because my new iPad Pro needed a USB-C connection and didn't like the short and very thin cable that came with the iPad. I'm taking a star off my rating because the cord is so thick it doesn't spread out very well. It took me an overall length of 10 feet to get from the plug to the device and the cord kept kinking. I managed to straighten it but wish it was a little more flexible.
