I was successfully using the batwing wrap technique with a receiving blanket with a velcro wrap over it before discovering this. Bat material is attached to this diaper. Unfortunately, this material sticks in the crook of the baby's arm when the baby struggles with the diaper. Then the baby's arms and hands are no longer in the lowered position. The idea is great but there is room for improvement. Also, the material always seemed to curl towards the baby's face, causing a digging reflex that would wake him up. Now we've switched to the raised hands swaddle and it works well for us.
