Used to trim the bottom of stairs and table corners for a one year old who is big enough to bang his head on something he cannot see. I'm sure with enough force the tape will come off instantly, so far so good. The long strip is easy to cut to your needs and the tape is easy to stick. I didn't remove them, but if it's 3M tape, the layer it's stuck to shouldn't be removed.
