This little device is really cool. He does an excellent job of providing the right break on the green. I can see why the greengrocers might use that to prove to their assistants that they put up cones on the slopes. Very accurate in up/down/flat degrees of the putt and fairly accurate in breakout direction (harder to spot "small" breakout differences). This doesn't guarantee you'll putt, but it does pretty much guarantee that if the putt breaks and goes left, you won't read a right break into the putt. And the rise/fall or flat degrees are very accurate. Illegal for tournament play, but probably as legal as using the tilt option on the rangefinder for a random non-tournament round. A great way to learn breaks in a new course. In fact, I'm not sure why it should be illegal for tournament play when it's legal to use a book that maps every bit of tilt and break in the book as professional caddies use. So you can use this device to create great green card and you can use the card in tournament play but you can't use this device. However. I hear the purists scream! Great little green device for learning to read.
