Unfortunately, someone does not understand how important it is to cut the plaid fabric evenly. It would be great if you could use the whole piece, not just the middle. It's like the fabric stretches if the glue is applied to the wrong side or cut at an angle. Each part has the same cut, so none of them are useful. They're also not 12 x 18, more like 11 1/2 x 17 1/2, which isn't a big deal if you can use the whole piece. Too bad they were all cut wrong as it was exactly what I was looking for. And FYI, the red and black plaid is just as badly tailored.
