I must have been very unlucky. I bought 3 boxes of these "cubic combo vacuum bags" thinking I would make good use of my time at home. So far 2 sets of these have been rubbish. I've been using traditional (non-cube) pouches for over 10 years and have never had a problem. With these cubic shapes, once the folded garments were placed, all invariably began to diverge along either the left or right bottom seam. The first time this happened I thought I did something wrong. I thought it might be too heavy so the seams came undone. So I opened another box, took the same size XL and started repacking (I was extra careful this time) and sucked out the air and started waiting. Of course, the air didn't hold again. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Something this size and double pack! But I still had 2 L bags so I decided to separate the clothes and put them in 2 bags instead of 1 XL. Well you can guess how it happened. the same separation of the seams at the bottom of both pockets. Meanwhile grabbed, sucked, waited, grabbed, sucked, waited for hours so I decided to quit and take a break. I have 1 more combo box left but maybe I don't have the strength to restart and get frustrated again. Such a shame! This vacuum cleaner idea is great, saves a lot of space and I've never had a problem with traditional flat room bags in the past. Maybe it's just a cube design.
