I had two pairs of previous versions of the same shoe. Older models had regular laces, but this newer version has elastic bands that don't need to be tied. I was a bit skeptical at first but they fit my feet so well I gave them a try. I've just returned from a week's vacation working exclusively with them every day and night. They were very comfortable and I never had to stop to tie my laces like the old ones. They are very comfortable and my feet don't get tired at the end of the day. I highly recommend them. I will be ordering more in different colors soon. I also like that they come in large sizes. I have very wide feet and a little more room is enough.
