Was a bit hesitant to get these based off of other reviews, but my experience is quite pleasant.This case lines up really nicely and has no strange gaps. It does have a bit of bulging in the front center of the lid, but I think this is so a thumb can grip the lid easier. I am pretty sure this is an intended design.This adds a good extra weight to my AirPods case and as a result it reminds me they’re in my pocket, which is nice since I’m only used to a wallet keys and phone in my pockets.The installation is easy and SNUG. I didn’t have a problem putting this case on, but getting it off can be a bear. They include a small tool to get the bottom of the case off, which even with this tool the case grips hard.For this reason I didn’t apply the included adhesive on the top half, it’s snugged up tight.I have a video of me flipping the opening and trying to take off the lid, it didn’t budge. If you want to remove the top of the case you can easily do so from the back where the hinge gap is. To take the bottom off, simply plug in a lightning cable and press the case out. I like how smug this case is, I’d rather it be harder to take off then always coming apart on me.This is a real leather case, smells nice and I’m looking forward to a patina later down the line. A great option for your AirPods that can help them stand out nicely. Makes them feel much more quality. Definitely beats a silicon case.Edit*This charges wirelessly still even with the added thickness. (Added a charging pic) I feel as if they revamped their product since older reviews, I really am enjoying this case. It works out well for me.
