Good for workouts

I bought these Skullcady bluetooth headphones for use in the gym and after over a month of almost daily use I have to say they are even better than I hoped. Despite my best efforts, I have never found satisfactory in-ear headphones, whether wired or wireless, that stay in my ears during a workout. Aside from the falling out issue, the tiny controls on the earbuds are too difficult to use, and the battery life of Bluetooth versions is often short. I was worried the in-ears would fall off while exercising, but the Skullcady stays in place. The controls are large, easy to understand, and can be seen or felt when I'm upside down. Bluetooth syncs with my iPhone 6 instantly and connects quickly when I turn it on. The battery seems to last forever between charges. So far I've only had to charge it once and used it 5-6 days a week for 45 minutes to an hour. The sound is mostly suited to classical music, with some rock or blues that I listen to. I'm not looking for a concert hall in the gym. The headphones manage to keep annoying sports music out without blocking my ability to hear when someone is talking to me. There are so many options when looking for Bluetooth headphones or earphones and so many reviews (many of which look like spam) that finding the best one is a real chore. At only $30, the Skullcady was a low-risk choice and I'm glad I took the risk.

Pros
  • BUILT-IN MICROPHONE AND REMOTE CONTROL: Take calls and navigate playlists with the built-in microphone and easy-to-use buttons on the earcup. Use the plus and minus buttons to adjust volume, switch between songs, and press the circle button to answer and end calls or play and pause music.
Cons
  • So far so good
