This product is great and cheap. I have seen other aquarists use afropicks but they are too expensive and the teeth are too wide apart for me to fish these small leaves efficiently. I make an effort to wipe them down every time I use them so they don't rust, but even the times I've forgotten they're just as shiny as the first day I got them. No rust at all. You don't seem strong enough to me to handle them like a man, but I don't see why you have to be a man handling floating aquarium plants or your baby's scalp.
