This chair makes a great addition to my granddaughter's family room. It matches our sofa, loveseat, armchair and ottoman. My granddaughter is 15 months old and I thought she would be delighted. Having furniture her own size, but she wasn't. I should have known better because she's the kind of kid who just won't sit still. Yes, the armrest is at the same height as the seat when open, but that doesn't really matter for a child seat. This would only be a big problem in an adult seat. It was very easy to assemble - just put on the backrest and use the Allen key provided for the legs.
