I bought this chair for my 15 month old granddaughter. The chair is beautiful and my adult daughter sat in the chair (does not break or fall apart) Easy to clean and great price I've been telling all my friends and family about the recliner.

Please note that none of the customer photos (as of 15th August 2018) show children putting their feet on the raised footrest. Any pressure on the footrest lowers it slightly. The one they gave me has no weight. I have to put a pillow under the footrest to support it. I bought the seat to use the recline function for my 2 year old. I bought two of these chairs for my grandchildren's birthday parties. They are 5 and 4 years old. As you can see in the photo the 5 year old is taller but the chair with her is still great. Love them and the chairs seem great for their height and should be fine for a few more years. These chairs are perfect for a child who has outgrown marshmallow chairs (when they are seated and knees up). I am not very impressed with the quality control of this item. First I decided to put the legs in front of the backrest as it is easier to maneuver without the backrest attached. Two of the legs had padding clips blocking the holes which I had to remove with pliers before attaching the plastic legs. Our 14 month old loves this chair. He likes to lie down and read a book or drink milk. It can go up and down easily. We have to flip it for him (still too young to do it alone), which is perfectly fine. The top cushion can be detached from the Velcro that keeps it in place. This chair makes a great addition to my granddaughter's family room. It matches our sofa, loveseat, armchair and ottoman. My granddaughter is 15 months old and I thought she would be delighted.
