Bargain Smart Bulbs

I have ordered 8 of these units for my basement. All the lights in the basement were on separate simple chain switches that didn't allow for easy turning on and off, and they were left on quite often as well. I have an Echo Show 2 with Hue (Zigbee) built in and connecting these lights via the Alexa app was very easy. Insert the bulb into the base, turn on the device, and then start detection in the Alexa app. You can turn on and detect multiple bulbs at the same time, but I think there is a time limit after turning on for detection. So if you're doing multiple at once, you might have to turn on and off each unrecognized lightbulb. One of the eight light bulbs does not work. detect after repeated cycles. Reading the troubleshooting section in the Alexa app gave me a detailed explanation of how to reset the Innr lights (on and off 6 times, on and off no more than 1 second, the light will blink twice to indicate the reset to confirm). Once I reinstalled the bulb, it's back and works great. All 8 bulbs work well in the Alexa group and the dimming function works great too. For the price, this was the cheapest way to get 8 Alexa controlled lightbulbs. I chose them because I didn't want to add 8 random devices to my wifi controlled by yet another smart home app.

Pros
  • GOOD FOR VOICE CONTROL: Connect the bulbs to a compatible hub to enable full voice control with Alexa and Google Assistant devices. Innr lights also work with built-in smart hubs such as the Amazon Echo Gen 4, Studio & Show 10.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
