Review on 🔌 SFF 8087 Breakout Cable by Cable Matters by Vinny Howard

I have a super micro server that bought the built in SATA connectors for the 2.5" hot swap bay on the back of the system. I wanted to use a pair of SuperMicro DOM for boot drives, which of course were the only SATA connectors on the board that would support DOM, the other 8 SATA ports needed this patch cord (0-3/4-7 in the port pair) - I was Not sure if the shorter version of this (0.5m) would do, so I ordered this 1m cable as well as the 0.5m version, knowing I could probably only use 1. It turned out to be a good move as this longer version was needed. If only they would make a 2ft version ;) They seem to be well made with the cable wrap being about half the length before branching out into 4 pin SATA connections to make them more secure . impede airflow.
