I was just trying to break the zonki chain for an 8 speed cassette. It won't move by hand and I knew it wouldn't work and I would have to buy another tool anyway, so I used a vise to hold the tool and a pipe wrench to turn the handle. I knew from other reviews that the handle would fail and continued to use a pipe wrench to turn the screw. He, too, eventually failed and broke in half. The pin moved about 1/8 inch so I'm hoping a more expensive tool will do the job. I doubt anyone gave it a 5 star rating. The bike link pliers opened the quick master link on the old chain and the chain wear tool seems to be working fine.
