Good in all respects except fabric knots and ages/wears out after 4 months of gentle machine washing. So for school uniforms they worked great as long as they didn't look old (they also get dirty and since I don't use bleach that's a problem). After school year I threw them away and bought light blue tops that are more like shirt style fabric. For a very young child who can't button a shirt yet, that's fine. Also, the sleeves don't reach to the wrist, which is good for small kids to keep them clean and out of the way. The fabric is soft, comfortable and tag-free, so children love to wear it. The length was perfect too. The price was great too. They can last a full year if you wear a sweater over them on cold days, which is what we did. So that was our school uniform for a year.
