The electric switch for my disposal ended up being shared with my water filter and my dishwasher. This required setting my disposal on it's own switch, and that's where this kit comes in. I'm not a very handy person but this was extremely simple. I used a hole saw I also bought on amazon (LENOX Tools Hole Saw with Arbor, Speed Slot, 1-1/4-Inch (1772491)) in order to make a hole in my kitchen sink. The switch itself fit perfectly in that hole. From there it's just connecting tubing and plugging into your available outlet. I used dishwasher soap as lubricant to help with drilling the hole, which is just something I saw recommended in a YouTube video. Overall I'm super happy with this purchase and think that it looks great. Anyone can do this. It worked as soon as I hit the switch and that's all I can ask for at this point. I'll update if it breaks down over time, but it's so simple in its operation it would be hard to imagine something breaking.
