I had high hopes for this camera and hoped to use it in the auditorium to shoot the sound booth scene in the back of the auditorium. The camera body itself looks quite functional. I was thrilled to find a reasonably priced telephoto lens and for my purposes the manual zoom/focus is a plus. He won't try to refocus on the audience when they stand up. Unfortunately, there is an incredibly annoying yellow cast in the middle. The lens and CMOS are clean, it seems like it's just a bad/cheap lens. This babe is back. :(-----Update: I wanted this to work so badly, I tested a second device. Unfortunately, it had the exact same problem. The standard webcam works fine, but I really need the telephoto skills. Then I'm testing another ELP with a 2-12mm lens, 12mm doesn't give me the zoom I want, but if it works without the tint I'll take it.
