Media could not be loaded. Before my son was born, my husband wanted to buy a commercial digital thermometer. I'm so glad we chose the contactless option. You never want to wake up a sleeping baby, and you really don't want to wake up a sick sleeping baby! We bought another touchless option but I'm glad Little Martin's Drawer gave us this one. The presentation convinced me immediately. Came in a soft blue storage bag. The best part is that it comes with AAA batteries! Top marks in my book! It also has an option to turn off the sound, which I think could be useful. We've only used it once, but it seems fast and accurate. I'm glad it happened before our little ones fired. I would say that this is definitely the option we will choose first.
