it works as advertised

I first bought a pre-treated Lodge cast iron skillet. I didn't like the finish so after watching some YouTube videos I sanded the bottom of the pot down to bare metal and then seasoned it properly. So now he's where he should be. I cleaned my pan by scraping it with a wooden spatula, then cleaning it with warm water and with a paper towel before wiping dry with a special cloth. This contraption knocks out one step - one scratch - and is far more effective than a paper towel (where I've sometimes cheated with hand soap - never detergent!). A warm pot is a good start, then warm water and that (gently). Definitely easier after cooking than waiting until the next day. That's right, it won't damage the seasoned surface of the pan. And then wipe and dry, everything is fine.
