I needed to cook a hot meal for my family on the go. I ordered it and hoped for the best. Upon arrival, the device looked smaller than I had hoped. However, I was able to fit enough chicken cacciatore here to feed 3 adults and 2 children. My final verdict is that the size of the device is good. small but of course enough space for a meal for one person and enough space for a meal for several people. The device did an excellent job of heating food. This transformed the chicken cacciatore from a solid block of ice into a bubbly mix of deliciousness. I don't know, an hour or two? Definitely faster and hotter than I expected. So why 3 stars? The case came out. When I received it and opened it, it was already clear that the seal would not work. It wasn't quite on the rim and when I tried to fix it it was clear that it was somehow not up to the task and also just a crappy and poorly designed/chosen seal. The rest of the unit was of good quality, but the upholstery was completely absent. As expected, once the flour melted and started bubbling, it seeped through the sides and spilled the whole bag it was in. If the seal was good I would keep this device and enjoy it a lot. But now that I saw a way to save the seal, I sent everything back. Big shame.
