🐉 Premium Silkworms Bearded Dragon Food by Zoo Med - An Ideal Diet Choice! Review

My reptiles are crazy about them. Yes, as other reviews have pointed out, these are pupae, not worms, but the lizards don't seem to care.

I gave five stars for the taste but I want to warn you that I didn't eat them. The fast delivery was perfect for me to feed my bearded dragon.

The jar isn't big so it doesn't last long but all my bearded adults and cubs would eat it. Much easier than trying to breed silkworms. I will buy them for the occasional treat

So my 9 year old bearded dragon has stopped eating and I have been hand feeding him for over a year now. He got fed up with the dubia roaches and I started buying live silkworms for over 2 years. These last 4 orders of silkworms that I received from a very reputable company died for me before they were fully grown. Being so frustrated that I now didn't have any live worms for my beard, I reminded myself I had a jar of these silkworms in my closet for my bearded dragon to taste them on this…

These are NOT live worms as advertised and they certainly do not match the picture to show how dead the worms are in the jar which also does not mean they are dead and for food ONLY . We needed them for our classes for our grade level - very disappointing and I expect a full refund as they are NON-refundable.

The smell is strong and the color is brown, they seem more dehydrated than the normal dry bugs you get in a jar. It was too smelly to feed my reptiles comfortably. And since it's just a dead doll, the smell will only get worse over time. Sure, feeding the iguana whole may be fine, but feeding it as a treat just isn't fun because of the smell.
