I bought this ladder to put in my budgie/parrot cage to play with and I didn't expect her to use it on a daily basis uses base. She's clipped her wings and is only a month old so she's unsteady jumping from pole to pole on her own, which is why I often see her using this instead of traveling up and down her cage when I'm not helping can. The ladder itself is of good quality, plenty of height for a fairly large cage and has hooks to hold it in place. This is a great product that I highly recommend.
